Job Summary

The Fleet Mechanic keeps VED's owned fleet of heavy equipment in the dirt. You diagnose, maintain, and repair excavators, dozers, scrapers, articulated trucks, loaders, and support gear — both in our Virginia Beach shop and on active job sites across the region.

You report to the Equipment & Fleet Manager and work alongside a tight in-house mechanic team that has kept this fleet running for decades.

  4. 04
Wear required PPE (hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots) throughout the shift.
